소개About
HWP·HWPX
HWP and HWPX are file formats widely used in Korea for official, school and workplace documents, but they are hard to open on a computer or phone without the program that makes them. This site is a small independent tool for reading such files without installing anything.
How it is built
The file format specifications are public. The site uses the open-source engine rhwp (MIT license), built to WebAssembly for browsers. The rest (UI, export and the isolation design) is our own code. No company's code, images or logos are used, and the site is not affiliated with the company that created the file format. The open-source components and their licenses are listed here.
원칙Principles
Files are never sent to a server. All conversion happens in a sandboxed frame inside your browser, and that frame has its network access blocked.
We do not hide what works and what does not. The unsupported list is on the front page.
It is free.
